The Exumas, part of the Bahamas, are a collection of over 365 islands called cays. The capital city of George Town on the main island of Great Exuma is easily accessible via its international airport. The island of Little Exuma is connected by a one lane bridge and can be accessed by car. All of the other cays are accessible by boat only.
These islands are filled with great food, interesting people, and incredible beaches nearly everywhere you look. Book a guided excursion for a day of island hopping, swimming with pigs, feeding iguanas, and more.
A week isn’t nearly enough time to explore all that the Exumas have to offer – but we visited a lot of amazing places and have a few tips for your next visit!
